Steel Secretary, P K Rastogi told NDTV on Tuesday, Said,
Steel consumption, which has seen a growth of 4 per cent in the last few months, is expected to get better going ahead. The steel consumption will grow by minimum 5 per cent in the year 2009-10.
Seshagiri Rao, JMD & Group CFO, JSW Steel said.
The kind of thrust the government is giving for building infrastructure, mainly social infrastructure, so that should give a boost from social and construction infrastructure which constitutes 64 per cent of the total steel demand.
